What we did: We started in May. We took over for another agency who was hired in February and proceeded to tank the account. This client was not happy, hence hiring us to fix what the previous agency did. They completely revamped the account setup and started over. They used an “axe” approach. When we took over we reverted back to much of what was running before and used a “scalpel” approach. We kept what was already working, testing new strategies gradually over time and made incremental changes to improve performance. NOTE: August did really well, in part because the client ran a great sale for most of the month. This is why they had such a high ROAS that month.
