Google Ads COVID-19 Help For SMBs

Google is tapping into its billions to help out small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. They have set aside $340 million in ad credits for small businesses running Google Ads.

SMBs who have been actively advertising on Google Ads since the beginning of 2019 are eligible. These ad credits can be used at any point until the end of 2020.

Advertisers will see a credit notification in their Google Ads account in the next few months. So, keep your eyes peeled for notices in your account in the coming months.

Who Is Eligible?

The ad credits will be available to small and medium businesses1, who advertise directly with us or through partners, around the world with active accounts since the beginning of 2019. 

1Credits will be provided to SMB advertisers that have been active advertisers since Jan 1, 2019 and comply with all Google Ads T&Cs.

What Platforms Will The Ad Credits Work On?

Google is stating the ad credits will work across the entire Google Ads platform, which including Search, Display, and YouTube. This also includes all campaign types.
